I have been having service done at this Goodyear since 1993. I have all my personal vehicles serviced here along with my company vehicle. Chuck and Daniel have been the reason I continue to do business with this store.
Called to make an appointment. Arrived at specified time and was taken in immediately. Service was performed very timely and the staff is always friendly and helpful to me. I have been receiving service here for over twenty years and have recommended them to many friends. Also, your credit card system with no interest if paid on time has been so helpful in times of large repairs.
In addition to oil change, strut on front right wheel was replaced. have been used to timely and competent service for several years. Problems with this visit: 1. Car was not ready when promised. Would have appreciated phone call. 2. Front right hub cap is missing from repair.. Am still waiting to hear about replacement.

Goodyear (Indy Downtown) has serviced my cars for the past 20+ year period and service has always been excellent and affordable. Staff are helpful, explain auto services provided and make very good and solid recommendations on auto service needs. Auto service has always been prompt and timely. I do not hesitate to recommend Goodyear (Indy Downtown) for auto service!
I find the service to be done in a timely manner and the technicians are very good at diagnosing, as well as informing about routine maintenance. Employees are courteous and friendly. First place I take my car when acting up or needs maintenance.

So many places upsell and gouge as part of their policy, but this Goodyear has, without exception, only provided me with the services I asked for and only recommended extra services for safety reasons. For instance--I took my car in for a flat repair expecting I'd have to buy a new tire, and their expert mechanics identified that I really only needed a $25 inflation valve for my faulty one. Very impressed with the crew at this store. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful--which I have had trouble finding, being a (kinda--ha!) young woman who has been swindled and condescended to in the past. I have been to several mechanics and this is the first place I have really trusted. I have been taking my car here loyally for three years.
I used to go to this location all the time because the crew is good and the location is close to my job. I stopped going for awhile because I found a cheaper service center. The other place did not tighten up my radiator cap so I am back @ Goodyear. My most recent service was a little pricey BUT, Goodyear sent a wrecker to get me and took me to work so it was worth it in the long run. I will be back again and again and I will tell others to use this store.
I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day. The staff is very courteous and kept me informed of their diagnosis of the problem and gave me options on what was needed and the respective costs. They notified me when the repairs were completed and the car was ready for pickup. Actually, on this day, the staff waited several minutes after closing for me to arrive at the shop to pay my bill and pick up the car. I was most appreciative of their thoughtfulness and cooperation. The thoughtfulness and competence of the staff makes me a loyal customer!

I certainly love the convenience of the store location compared to my work location. The quality of the work performed has remained very high during my 32+ years of using this store. The staff is well trained and repairs my car to expectations or better.

I had asked for an investigation of a mystery noise from underneath the vehicle. Prior to picking up the vehicle I asked the garage manager what was the find. The request was not relayed to the garage manager. And then I was informed that there would be an additional charge for taking the time of a mechanic to drive the vehicle around the block for a listen. And I was lead to believe that if I wasn't interested in having it repaired there once investigated, that there was less desire to investigate. The drop off location while I go to work is the key convenience to this location.
The only problem I have is the day after service I have an 18" oil spot my concrete driveway under the engine area.
Since when did they stop vacuuming the inside of car and washing the Windows?
Highly disappointed. I asked for fall care package, to check into issue with headlights going out, & to fix alignment that was not done during previous alignment at this facility in April. Tires were not rotated, headlight issue was not investigated, and alignment was not completed. The bill was $400 & the majority of this was due to replacement of leaking shocks which I have never heard of & had no previous issue with shocks. I did not receive services requested and paid for. Then there was no federal employee discount that day, when I had received it every time before. As a woman, can't help but feel taken advantage of.
I was going to bring my car in for an oil change but noticed my dash light come on for the tire pressure. I immediately called Goodyear to let them know and asked if they had a tow truck. I was informed that they did. After having my car towed, I immediately received a call that they received my car and that if they could not repair my tire I would have to purchase four new tires from them. I said, "let's see if it is even repairable first." I spoke to Joe several times informing me that they could not sell me only one tire, for several reasons including policy and liability, but also could not put my spare tire on for liability reasons. I asked about the cost of the oil change, since the price had changed, to which Joe informed me that I had never been there before... (what?!). I've been to Goodyear numerous times. I finally told Joe to leave my key under the mat, to please lock my car and I would be down to get it.
I took my car in for its regular oil change. They offered to check the diagnostics for FREE. When I returned to pay, I discovered my bill included a $100+ fee for interpreting the diagnostic codes! The manager didn't mention that when he offered to check it. My wife and I have taken our cars to this Goodyear for 20+ years, including all the cars our kids had. The service was great, the prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and it was conveniently located near home and work. Apparently, Goodyear's philosophy has changed. I'm looking for another maintenance shop to handle most of my car needs.
The last time I brought my car in you rotated tires losing a piece of the back pocket of my car and never made it right I've asked multiple times concerning the piece which was removed and my daughter's wheelchair which put back in wrongly losing the plastic pocket never to make it right.
They quickly diagnosed my car but once they found out that I was having the work done somewhere else for much cheaper they were extremely rude. I used to always take my car here for routine work but will not be returning after this experience.
