The shop does a wonderful job overall. I love the fact that they take appointments and there isn't much of a wait for a mechanic. I do wish the waiting area was a little more comfortable but that's a minor concern. They've recently, in the past six months, had a change over in the desk people and there appears to be some mis-communications happening.
We recently had our car tuned up for a long distance road trip. I asked the lady (an older, blonde haired lady) when I talked to her on the phone if the mechanics checked the battery because I was concerned that it was low and needed to be replaced. She said, "I am sure they did, but if not, I'll make sure they do." When I picked up the vehicle, I once again asked if the battery was checked. She responded, "I'm sure they checked it." Three days later, on the day we are set to leave for our road trip, our car won't start, and it needed a new battery. There is no way the battery could have drained that fast in 3 days, and I feel that the message was never relayed to the mechanics. We took our car to Sears for the battery, and it was replaced in 30 minutes. I don't think I will ever go back to GoodWorks after this experience. They were good in the past, but this was unacceptable.
