I felt that I was provided with courteous, prompt and excellent service and this was not the first time.
While they may have somewhat decent customer service, this shop is horribly unorganized with service staff who can be extremely unprofessional in the work place. It's in poor taste to curse at your coworker in front of a customer.
Nothing was even diagnosed he just reported the same problems that I'd already told him that was wrong with it.

The diagnosis/recommendation for repairs are printed and thoroughly reviewed with me before I approve to do the repairs. I have an 89 corolla, over 200,000 miles, and repairs/replacement parts will occur. So it was likely that it was time for some major repairs and Golden State's mechanics' performance has contributed to the rejuvenation of my car. They replaced my radiator, oil pan, timing belt, water pump, tires, etc. and I am very satisfied with their service, their skilled mechanics' and office staff performances.
The response and repair time of my need was great. Vary nice staff.

They didn't seem to be a very professional shop. I was handed my keys by the mechanic with grease on them. The seat covers in my car had grease on them.

Their service was excellent and had my car repaired in a timely manner.
I went there with a warranty and gave the front desk all the info. When the warranty company didn't call them back they called me and asked that I call the warranty company and try to get things moving along.So, I proceeded to call because I just wanted to get my car fixed. That issue was taken care of (or at least I thought it was). The relay had gone out in my pathfinder and instead of the mechanics replacing the whole "motherboard" as Nissan recommends to fix the issue they replaced one portion only. When I got my car back the low beams wouldn't work and the next day my check engine light came on again. Again, I took it back there and their man at the desk admitted they messed up my lights by trying to hurry. I was asked to call my warranty company yet again, which I did. They ended up having to replace the whole motherboard as Nissan suggested the first time. They didn't do the job right the first time, and I have NEVER had to call my warranty company on behalf of the mechanic working on my car. Not to mention, the gal at the front desk has horrible customer service and it feels like she's reluctant to help you with getting your vehicle in the shop and suggests you try other minor things to see if it fixes the problem first. Never again will I go there again unless I don't have any other options. Beside all the other issues I had with this company, they also couldn't tell me what their hourly rate of labor is which is against the law in California, it must be posted where customers can see it.

The staff was friendly and courteous and worked hard to take care of my car.
The vehicle was brought in several times and spent $3,000 was spent with them and the car broke down again. We cut our losses and take it somewhere else. They fixed the car and it has run well since. It was my brother's car, but I had the car towed and helped my brother get it taken care of since he was out of town and his son was driving it when it broke down. The car was old so we should have never put that much money into it, but they would fix one thing and then say they needed to fix something else, then got the car home and it broke down again. By then we had so much money in it we had to go ahead and fix it. Terrible experience!
