The wiring to the washer system fluid heater may overheat. This can create a burning smell, smoke, and possibly a fire under the hood.
A damper on the fuel rail may come loose and cause a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
The tire and loading information label on the driver's side door frame may be inaccurate. A misprinted label could lead to overloading of the vehicle, which could possibly lead to tire failure and a crash.
The hydraulic brake booster may fail and leak fluid. The loss of fluid would cause increased steering and braking effort and a crash could occur without warning.
The brake pedal push rod retainer may be missing. This could result in loss of braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Under certain conditions, the shift indicator located in the instrument panel cluster may not illuminate. As a result, the driver may not know which gear the vehicle is in. The vehicle may move in an unintended direction, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
The engine may stall and/or a fuel leak may develop from the fuel rail crossover tube. Any fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
