The intake manifold gasket may develop and external engine oil or coolant leak. In some cases, an internal coolant leak may occur causing coolant to mix with the engine oil. Running the engine with a coolant/oil mix may result in engine damage. Replacing the intake manifold gasket should correct this issue.

The Fuel Pump May Fail Causing the Engine to Stall or Crank Over But Not Start
The fuel pump may fail causing the engine to stall and not restart. Our technicians recommend replacing the fuel filter every 30,000 miles to help prevent undue strain on the fuel pump.
Coolant Leak & Engine Overheating
A coolant leak may develop from the water pump. This can result in an engine overheating condition. A leaking water pump will require replacement.
Driveability Problems Due to Internal Distributor Fault
The distributor may develop internal faults. This can cause a rough running engine or stalling condition, the Check Engine Light may or may not illuminate. Our technicians tell us that the distributor should be overhauled or replaced to correct this concern.
Highter Than Nornal Idle Due to Vacuum Leak
An engine vacuum leak may develop from the throttle body gasket causing a higher than normal idle speed. Failed gaskets should be replaced.

GMC Vandura 1500 Reviews
I just bought my 1st van a 1995 Gmc Vandura 1500. I'm starting my moonlight plumbing biz and realized little ford focus could only carrie a couple bucket's worth of tools and my wife was getting tired of me beating up the family Chevy venture for the past couple years. I know it's not the most powerful of van's but for only $1800 and only 49,688 on the old ticker , I couldn't refuse. The body has only a few rust spots on it and some old keyed marks but over all it looks like I got a Great work horse.I'm a husband and a father of three amazing kids hopefully this investment will help me take my side biz to my main biz, so I can provide even more for my wounderful family. Ya , some people my say it's just some old van but it's my old van and I'm proudly going to use it each and every. Thanks GMC, THIS 17yr old Vandura is getting a new lease on life!
