Question: Glove box won't open

My glove box will not open. My registration, proof of insurance and other paper work is in it. The latch does move. Is this a big project to fix it?

    Yes it happened to me yesterday. I was able to open it with a metal T ruler. It opened but the handle is broken. It is has only two screws, very easy to remove. The problem now I don't know where to find a replacement part. I need help, Toyota Corolla 98 model.
