My regular mechanic of 12 years recommended Gillespie's Auto Service.
My 2001 Jeep Cherokee would start and then cut out after 3 seconds. Codes were P1686,P1694,P1698(my code reader). John came over to my house on a Saturday at 4PM. He spent 2 hours methodically troubleshooting the vehicle diagnostics. He narrowed it down to a sensor problem. One of the sensors was live and sending junk signals(my take on this)into the loop.
He towed it to his shop and finished the repair there at a later time. It turned out to be corroded contacts in the key sentry in the dome light. One could tell that John is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done.Flag ThisLike0
