There are some mobile mechanics that will come to your vehicle and diagnose/repair it. Search for mobile repair mechanics in your area.

IM CONFUSED ON THE QUESTION , IF SOMEONE CAME OUT TO FIX YOUR CAR THEN WHY WOULD YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP,, JUST HAVE IT TOWED TO A SHOP SO THEY CAN PROPERLY DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT CORRECTLY ,, hAVE YOU DONE ANY TESTS ON IT YOURSELF??
Answer #3
if the engine light came on i would get a diagnostic it may be a sensor causing your car not to start thats the least expensive thing you can do and it will give you the best outcome.
Answer #4
You could provide details of the problem in a forum and people might be able to help you diagnose it yourself - still, unless you're at least a little mechanically inclined, I suspect you're going to need to have it towed to a shop for a repair anyway. Still, you'd be surprised what you can figure out and fix with the right information.
