I travel over 40 miles to have my Volvo serviced by this business. They always do a great job and are extremely trustworthy.
I was not at all happy that I showed up at the end of the day to pick up my car and found that it hadn't been worked on. No good reason for this was given at the time, and I kept the loaner for another day. I later was given a reason for this, but a phone call telling me this on the first day would have saved me a trip out there and a bunch of frustration.
The car wasn't totally fixed but had an intermittent electrical problem with warning lights. No effect on car performance. When the lights came on but went out again I called back I said they could replace the part. They said no, not until the lights were always on. They didn't want to replace a part until they were sure it was the defective one. I liked that.

I came in with the engine light on, it's still on but it took 3 weeks and $2500. I never received a pone call from the shop--I always initiated the discussion. Worst experience in my life.

I am grateful for the assistance with my Honda. Since I am in Florida I will have to wait until I retun and hopefull the left front tire will not be flat again. I have had trouble with the left fron tire since the tire were new and hopefully the problem is resolved. We wre putting air in the tire at least every 3-4 weeks.

My car had an extended warranty that covered only part of the repairs and labor. It was not made clear to me that I would have to pay 25% in labor over the warranty because they only covered $75/hr and the shop charged $100/hr. I also didn't know they were going to charge me $120 to tow the car 14 miles. I would have had AAA tow me for about $30. They charged a $120 diagnostic fee which the warranty should have covered, etc..... I thought I was going to pay 700 tops and paid 1141. I was not happy about that
My car has required some substantial repairs over the past few months, and GFS has done a wonderful job making sure everything was done well and comprehensively. Dan was especially helpful and accommodating each time, and went well beyond what was necessary to ensure that we were happy and set to go. Many thanks--we'll definitely continue to return to GFS.
Mirror Joy stick was broken. They needed to scan the part # to see if they could find a used one. The next thing I am told is the Mirror is broken I told Dan the mirror was new. He asked who did you buy it from? I Told him I bought it from you. The next thing I know Dan told me they were able to fix it and it was fine.
Then when I was paying the bill Dan told me that they replaced the mirror under warranty...I got in my car and adjusted the mirror only to find the same clicking noise when the mirror is adjusted to the full left.
I had a flat tire and I ask him to put the tire equipment back in its holder in the trunk, not completed after being promised by the way that's a minor detail.
I would have liked to have known about the recommended repairs as I had to go to a second shop to have tires rotated and balanced and I would have also liked to have known about the ripped inner boot so I could have gotten it fixed at the same time as the drive shaft.

The waiting area was clean, warm, and comfortable. My car was ready when they said and I was on my way for the rest of my day.
I feel that if there was a more thorough inspection into the car's issue the first time it was in the shop, it would have saved me time, money and less aggravation of having to bring the car back repetitively.

I needed to have a valve job done on a xc70. A week to 10 days was expected. It took over two weeks. Service timeframe included Thanksgiving.
confusion about tire storage ended up burning a lot of hours of drive and wait time.

The problem that was run into, was that the deeper the work went to repair the vehicle. The problems that needed fixed kept out guessing the guys working on it. I feel it was not their fault, just that stuff happens!

My car which I have bought from them constantly is going back to them for something else wrong. The only good thing about this place is they offered an extended warranty, which I pay for, and Ken the manager.
This my last visit to gas. I have a brake issue that after 3 consecutively complaints the issue not resolved. Customer -client atmosphere is not as beforehand!
The work was done very well. I was happy about that. When I dropped the car off, I was told it would be a few days. Then, a week later, was told the VW Mechanics were on vacation. I wish I had known that at the beginning. Was given various dates that it would be done, but apparently they had been looking for a part. Though the customer service people were pleasant and nice to talk to, I think something needs to be done to give customers a more realistic time on the service. I show this car at various car shows and I had to miss 3 shows during this time. Had I known the delays, ahead of time, I wouldn't have signed up for the shows. I will bring my car back for further service. Just hope I'm given a more realistic time. Thank you

GFS goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. The only suggestion I would make is the improve communication. When I picked up my car initially (after a service) there was additional service needed, and they did not tell me. I thought it was getting all the work it needed and was surprised to get my car back to find it still sounding terrible. I scheduled another service appointment, but would have preferred to have been told that it still needed more work. Otherwise, GFS ROCKS!! And, I mean that!

No one likes to shell out a lot of money for repairs, but if you've been driving long enough, a certain sense of acceptance comes with the periodic need to fix things that break. Geneva Foreign Sports is a wonderful place to have these necessary tasks performed. The staff there are attentive, thoughtful, friendly, expert, and fast. They are not cheap, but their work is nonetheless a bargain. Things are fixed once, fixed right, and you won't be paying for mistakes.

I had brakes replaced a month ago. I started to hear noises that sounded like one of the brakes had gone again. GFS resolved the issue with one the brake springs and replaced the pads for me at no cost since the repair was only a month old. Didn't even have to ask them for it - they just offered it voluntarily.
I am satisfied.

They have treated me very fair when it came to repairs for my vehicle I purchased from them. There were a few issues with the car that the mechanic caught and that they warrantied even though I was passed the 1000 mile warranty. They will be my first stop next time I am in the market for a new car.
The service always seems to take longer than expected.
Very long period of time to get work completed once vehicle was dropped off. Invoice was incorrect, charged for work that was not completed. My wife and I felt rushed by the people at the pickup counter when we were picking up the car, like we were just a number and they wanted to get to the next person.

Loved the service at this shop. They make ownership of a high mileage German sedan enjoyable and predictable. The service advisors always answer my questions satisfactorily, give heads-up regarding what might be coming up in terms of maintenance, and have on multiple occasions passed opportunities to upsell expensive parts and repairs by fixing small things basically for free. Great place and I look forward to actually have them find my next ride in due time.
