10 months after re placing the clutch , pressure plate and thrust bearing , the gears shift is very sticky and sometimes stuck in 1st or R , could this be the slave cylinder that needs to be replaced and is that easy accessible?

Normally if you had an issue with the clutch hydralic system it would affect shifting in all gears. replacing the slave cylinder is not too difficult but you will need to follow a bleed proceedure to remove the air from the system.

Thank you I will do so and let you know how things go
It worked a good bleed and a full reservoir , it's as good as new.
