how do i get my gear shift to unlock and come out of park?

    There's a small plastic cover over a hole on the shifter console. Remove the cover and insert a narrow blade screwdriver, coat hanger wire etc. into the hole to push and hold the release while you operate the shifter. (temp help- get it fixed)
