Gear shift on 1999 GMC Yukon

Someone tried to break in my truck and yanked the gear shift down into neutral and broke it off can it be replaced or do i need to replace the whole column?

You can usually just replace the gear lever itself if the piece it goes into is not damaged much.

When I drive my truck the gears starts off shifting to 1 rpm then 2nd but when it gets into 3rd gear it doesn't shift back down to 2nd gear it stays in 3rd gear wouldn't go over 30 miles per hour.

my 97 yukon misses when i start to take of from a dead stop. most of the time it will stop missing when i give it more gas and it also misses when it shift gears. it will stop missing when it warms...
