Question: gear oil

 Rookie

for manual trans fluid change,it says parts required is 4 qts gear oil. my manual says capacity is 2.1 ots.why would i need 4 ots?

   Master

  You can only fill your manual trans till it runs out of the fill ( inspection hole ) Call KO at P and K Automotive corner of bayshore and sunnydale in San Francisco 415-587-8410 cheaper to have him refill your trans and no possibility of causing damage to your trans.
