1999 Nissan Maxima

Question: Gasoline is rejected from gas tank when fueling vehicle.

Every time I put gas in vehicle, the fuel shoots back out. In order to put fuel in the car, I have to basically tap it in; litte by little or it will come back out. Please advice. Thanks,

    Sounds like you have a bad vent control valve , the valve is what vents air from the gas tank and make possible for you to fill it with out stopping the gas pump. If the valve is not working the air does not get vented from the tank and you will have this problem . Valve is located by the driver side rear wheel bolted to a black box the box is call the vapor canister. About $35 for the canister vent control valve and about 1/2 hour labor
