Question: Gas Pedal

 Rookie

Gas pedal seems to be loose when I step on the gas. Engines surges but when rpms' are down when I start it 3-4 times, my car cuts off. Any recommendation on how to fix this?

  A loose gas pedal -- really no known common issues there. You would want to make sure your throttle body is clean and the cable for the accelerator is free of any binding.

  For the stall and low idle, check the idle air control valve, check for any intake leaks or vacuum leaks, and check your EGR system for restrictions.
