 Rookie

When the gas level reaches 1/4 tank it will constantly flucuate between there and empty even without stepping on the gas hard what would be the cause of this?

   Master

  There are a few possibilities, the fuel sending unit, wiring and the fuel gauge. The sending unit is more problematic, but a proper diagnosis of the system will determine that.
