gas gauge on 2000 Buick LeSabre

The gas gauge has stopped working. How can I fix it?

The fuel sending unit is inside the gas tank. It sends a signal to the fuel gauge at the dash. Sometimes it's the wiring to the gauge. Most of the time, it's the sending unit. Before going to the extreme, take it in to your neighbor auto repair facility for a quote. At that time, you can decide if you want to repair it (or guess how far you can go) or not.
