gas gauge on 2004 Chevrolet Impala

needle moves all over is no longer acurrate!!

This is most likely a failure of your fuel sending unit, which will need to be replaced. For many GM cars, the fuel sending unit and the fuel pump are all one component. I'm not certain that's the case for your Impala. If it is, it can be a costly repair.
