I have an 89' Supra, and the only means of releasing the fuel filler door is by pulling the latch from the inside...which does not work. Is there another means of opening the door?

    Get someone to pull the latch as you gently pry open the gas filler lid. When the flap is open get them to pull and release the cable see if the plunger moves at the fuel filler flap, try lubricating it. At the door hinge there is a little spring clip costs about $3. and takes 1 minute to fit usually causes this problem on other Toyotas.
