Call the dealer and get a factory cap! Cheaper than aftermarket and a whole lot better. Have seen new aftermarkets fail an evap test!

YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THAT.BOUGHT A CAP AND STILL HAVE EVAP LIGHT.GOING TO DEALERSHIP FOR NEW CAP.ANY IDEA THE COST.

Pretty sure it will be a tad less than the aftermarket cap and have the retainer strap as well, if applicable. Have you had the system tested?

It's a myth that most evaporative emissions leaks are caused by a faulty O.E. gas cap. That being said, why do you need a new one?
