Question: Gas Canister Valve

 Rookie

I have 153,000 miles on the car and my engine light came on with a gas canister valve. Any idea if a $1000 is the correct figure to fix.

    There is no such thing as a gas canister valve. There is a Evap Solenoid, EVAP Charcoal Canister, EVAP Canister Purge Valve.
    Could you tell us exactly which part is bad? It should be on the estimate.
