i just want to know how many gallons of motor oil i have to put on my ford explorer 91, v6, 4.0.

Ford recommends replace the Engine Oil and Filter of the 4.0L V6 on your 1991 Explorer every 5,000 Miles or 6 months, whichever occurs first. Use 5 Quarts (1.25 Gallons) of SAE 10W-30. This number is marked on every oil container.
