The overall quality of the service is great and the owner and front office staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. However, another mechanic we use offers us "little extras" like a car wash, complimentary movie tickets, sees candy, which really shows how much I am valued as a customer. When we drain the checkbook after getting the car repaired, those small tokens make a painful experience a bit more bearable and make us more likely to come back next time.
I found Gabriel's to be fair. The price was what they say it is going to be. The repairs were done according to what they said they were going to do. It was clean and it was finished when they said it would be. The manner that they have, the person behind the desk is usually the person working on it, but he still is clean as if he didn't work on it. I can tell that he takes pride in himself and in his business. Everything seemed to be neat. Even the floor was clean. Like if you go into Pep Boys, the floor is covered in oil or dust around. I noticed at Gabrielle's, when they finish the repair they mop it, sweep it, and show you all the parts from your car that they talked about. They roll it up to you on a tray, and ask if you want your part.
