** ANSWERED - I'm an idiot - it was the light buld ** I am trying to find out why my rear left brake light is intermittently going out. Checked the bulb but it is good. trying to locate the fuse, but there is no fuse diagram for the front fuse box in the glove compartment. Any ideas out there or a layout of the fuses?

I would check the circuit board of the rear tail light assembly. I just replaced 2 this week. If I rotated the plastic bulb holder in the socket, the light would work for awhile and then go out. I found that the circuit board for the tail light assembly had little cracks in the brake light circuit which tends to get hot because of the amount of current that the brake light bulb demands.

If it intermittently works, the fuse is good. fuses either work or they dont.

chances are your problem is in the socket or the circuit board for the tail light assembly. You need a dental pick and sandpaper. With a dental pick raise up the center contact in the socket. then sand it. then sand the circuit board contact space where the socket makes connection.
