Question: fuse box burnt

recentally i smelled a burnt wire smell when i would use the ac and today i found out that my fuse had melted completly through the fuse box and a few more around it , does anyone know why this could have happend, i had the correctt fuse in it so why?

    A loose connection will cause a fuse box or any electrical connection to overheat and melt the connectors or in your case the fuse box, especially with the load of the A/C on the circuit.

    what do u mean with the load of the A/c on the circuit? could it have been from a to big or to small of a fuse? i can still feel cool air from the ac is it ok to use ?
