Question: Fuel Type and Engine Problems???

 Rookie

I've been reading a good amount of reviews on the 2007 Audi A4 Quattro that mention engine and suspension issues. Are these just a few bad cases or is this car known for such issues. Also, is premium fuel require for this car? What if regular is used?

  usually performance cars require at least 89 octane and if you run regular gas all the time the knock sensor should retard the timing but damage can occur over time due to pre-ignition
