Fuel System on 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix

I have an unknown foreign substance in my tank. I need to know what steps to take next?

Well i suggest you take down the tank if you don't want to do this i advise you to disconnect one of your fuel lines and put the switch on the ON position let the fuel come out refill until you think the tank is cleaned
