why?? very low failre rate. more common is the pump itself. check for power at the inertia switch with the key turned on. power will be present for 2 seconds only until vehicle starts. then it will be powered till engine is shut off.
It is part of what Ford call the Integrated Relay Control Module located just in front of the air filter housing behind the passenger front head light. Two 20 Amp fuses in the fuse box bring power to this module.
