fuel pump problems on 1999 Ford Expedition

I have replaced my fuel pump twice each time it last about a day then the next morning it wont start.Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem?

either the brand of the pump is no good or you have dirt in the tank that causes the pump to fail. Roy

check the wiring harnest the plugs up to the tank for any wires that may be touching & last but not least have the sending unit checked
