1999 Ford Expedition Question: fuel pump problems

I have replaced my fuel pump twice each time it last about a day then the next morning it wont start.Anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? -

either the brand of the pump is no good or you have dirt in the tank that causes the pump to fail. Roy -

check the wiring harnest the plugs up to the tank for any wires that may be touching & last but not least have the sending unit checked -
