Question: fuel pump location & if the fuel pump bad the car will not start it that right

repair man said $1,300 to fix it

    The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank it is accessed by removing the back seat and taking off an access panel. Nissan have a recall on the fuel p[ump sock but it doesn't pertain to fuel pump failure. It takes about an hour to change the pump and the pump from Nissan is about $400. Call another garage to get a quote. If you are replacing the fuel pump replace the fuel filter as well.
