Question: Fuel Pump Issues

 Rookie

The fuel pump has been replaced in my truck 2x in the last two months. After the last time, I had the truck back for an hour before it quit again. The relay in the engine compartment is good. What other issues could be causing an intermittent fuel pump failure? It started after the dealership towed the truck there. The dealership is still trying to replicate my problems.

    You may have a electrical connection issue somewhere in the fuel pump circuit - power or ground side, outside or inside the fuel tank. All connections in the circuit should be inspected for proper connection. If everything tests ok outside the fuel tank the checks must also be done on connections inside the fuel tank.
