Have a fuel pressure test performed to determine if your pump is functioning appropriately.

Low fuel pressure will cause fuel starvation under load on acceleration resulting in a loss of power, (lean running condition)Too much fuel pressure is caused by a restricted fuel return line or such. As Dave said get pressure verified using a fuel pressure gauge to verify pressure and volume is OK.
