1994 Toyota Pickup Q&A

1994 Toyota Pickup Question: Fuel Pump?

truck stalls @ 3000 RPM while accelerating. Replaced fuel filter, recent tuneup, new catalytic converter. Checked for back pressure on exhaust and that was insignificant. No codes or service lights showed up. -
Answer 1
Check fuel pressure and fuel volume. You should have a pint of fuel delivered into a glass jar in 10 seconds of cranking. An ignition coil that is incapable of putting out sufficient spark should also make your truck hard to start from cold.
