Fuel Pump on 1993 Buick Roadmaster

How do I change a fuel pump in a 1993 Roadmaster? I have to believe it is in the fuel tank. Thanks in advance

The gas tank has to come out. The pump is located inside. Recommend having this repair done professionally. There are alot of plastic connectors on top of the tank that could break.

You are correct. Drain it then drop it or get a very strong individual to help you lower it, and it should be directly on top..unless you are able to get through an access cover in trunk underneath the carpet near spare tire.
