fuel pump on 1997 Buick LeSabre

after replacing the pump for a second time.the dealer thinks there a wiring problem causing the pump to go bad.What do you think?

I cannot think of a wiring issue that would cause a fuel pump to fail and not affect anything else. You are now on your third fuel pump - how long did each pump last?
