I bought Indian Reservation gas for 2 weeks in a row. My car starting bogging down so I took it to my mechanic. He supposedly put it on a diactostic & said I needed a new tank (it was rotting), new gas pump, gas filter & repaired my injectors. I've had it in the shop 5x now. Everytime the next day, it works great until it gets warmed up. They have repaired my injectors 3x. Today the mechanic said he test drove it & when he pulled it into the shop that transmission fluid was pouring out from it. He's taking it some where to get checked out. Any idea on why this happened? Did he misdiagnose it?

I am not sure why 5 trips to the shop were needed to repair a rusty fuel system. That sounds a bit unusual to me. Did you see the evidence that the fuel tank was rotting, did your mechanic show you the rusty, rotten fuel tank?
Now I can not say about the trans, but a leak from the trans should be able to be repaired fairly easily, it is either a pan gasket or a cooler line, both of which are pretty easy repairs. How about a second opinion form another shop?
