can i remove intake hose (air)from fuel inj. system and spray carb. & throttle body cleaner into the system like you would with carb. or throttle body injection system.

    you can clean the throttle body but my question is why???

    rough idle poor gas mileage. put lucas fuel system cleaner in and new air filter, and wanted to clean fuel delivery and wasn't sure if it was throttle body cause it is in air intake instead of right on top of motor

    the only true way to service injectors is with direct injection. most shops have this tool and will break up all the carbon deposits on the pindals. it runs about 79 and well worth it.
    rough idle could be other items like a idle air control motor.
