When should the fuel induction service be done?

    every 45,000 miles it should be checked and chances are it will still operate perfectly even at 90,000.

    There is absolutely no service interval for a fuel induction service. It is entirely an elective service that is not at all required for your Mountaineer and at best provides a modest performance improvement.

    An induction service will provide a better throttle response and better fuel mileage. I do mine every 20,000 miles on my Ford with BG.
