2004 Isuzu Rodeo Question: "fuel Induction service" & "Injection service

 Rookie

Are they the same service? and how much should it cost in labor and parts, I had it done in Annapolis Maryland. The search engine on here doesent list this service.

    No. Fuel injection service forces a solvent through your fuel system using the injectors. A fuel induction service puts the solvent in through the incoming air on it's way to the engine. This is usually easier & cheaper to do but does not have the same goal. A fuel injection service is meant to clean out the injectors and also cleans the small amount of intake behind that. The fuel induction service cleans the entire intake, throttle body & associated passages but does not clean the fuel injectors from the inside.
