do the fuel pump sending unit cause the fuel gauge to not respond until you raise the rpm or start the vehicle to moving.

2002 Chevrolet Blazer Question: fuel gauge does not register properly
Answer #1Bret Bodas from RepairPal Test Shop, February 15, 2010, 11:10Master
Before you do anything, add a bottle of Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus, It has an additive that cleans the fuel level sensor in the fuel tank, and it may address this, and for $15.00 it's a very inexpensive attempt that will only help, not hurt anything. It's fixed many fuel gauge issues I've dealt with, so give it a shot. More Info: http://bit.ly/Techron_Concentrate
