MY FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT REGISTER RIGHT, WHEN I FILL UP THE GAUGE STAYS ON EMPTY WITH LIGHT ON THEN GADUALLY MOVES TO FULL THEN BACK TO EMPTY AGAIN, THEN IT WILL REGISTER RIGHT UNTILL ABOUT A QUARTER OF A TANK AND THEN GO TO EMPTY AGAIN. IS THIS SOMTHING I CAN REPLACE MYSELF OR DO I HAVE TO TAKE TO A DEALER?

My 05 Trailblazer did the same thing. It required pulling the fuel tank and replacing the fuel pump inside the tank.

This is not uncommon with the Chevy Trailbalzer. It has happened to myself and 2 other owners that I personaly know. The cost to repair is $500. Should be a recall. I just make sure I fill up before I reach 300 miles to be safe.
