Fuel flap release button in driver's door is broken on 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis

How do I get the fuel flap open now that the release button in driver's door is broken?

take a look in the trunk for a cable you can pull. if not, then you will have to carefully insert a small screw driver to manually release the door. Roy

Thank you, it was becoming pertinent that I fuel the beast....... and I couldn't find my owners manual... The cable is clearly labeled inside the trunk, again thank you for your quick response!

What i did was screw two screw one into each side of where the button was then youll just have get a piece of metal and touch it to both screws to open the flap.
