Pretty much. Use typical inflammable liquid cautions. Take the cap off the tank to let the pressure down so it doesn't spurt fuel and clamp off the fuel lines to stop fuel spills. Wear gloves and eye protection, allow no sparks or fire nearby. Keep an extinguisher handy.

I suppose basically it's as simple as "out with the old in with the new", but you may run into some difficulty with how tight the fittings are. In my experience, those bolts tend to be extremely tight, and it is very easy to round off the corners if you don't pay attention to what you are doing, or are not using some quality tools, as cheap wrenches tend to spread apart when under high torque situations. If you get to a point where you feel like you are going to strip the edges of the bolts, please stop what you are doing. Rounded edges on those components will make it much more difficult to replace that filter, and at that point it would be best to simply take it to a repair facility where they can deal with it. I have had to use an impact wrench before to break those bolts loose.
Also, the new filter should come with some new copper o-rings, be sure to use the new o-rings, and be sure to remove the original o-rings from the mating surfaces of the banjo connection. They do tend to stick to one side or the other, and if you accidentally double up the o-rings you may have a leak.
Keep us posted on how it all goes for you.
