My fuel door won't close, can I replace it myself?

    It's possible the hooking part on the door lid got strained, (usually it is the little clip that spring loads the door to open it that fails). In your case you will have to look at the metal tang on the rear of the fuel filler lid and try manipulating it and bending it so the door closes and remains closed but will simply open when you work the release cable from inside the car.
