fuel door will not open on 2005 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

trying to open with switch on door will not work. How can i get the door open?

It's probably something electrical get someone to operate the switch while you "listen" at the filler lid to see if anything is happening back there? Most manufacturers put an emergency provisional way to open the filler lid from inside the trunk area you may have to pull back the trunk trim panel to see a release cable. I've tryed prying the door with a credit card when the switch on the door is pulled. Looked for fuses but don't think it uses one.
Have tried repeatedly locking and unlocking doors over the last five days. hate to try to pry itopen, but running low on fuel.
