2004 Nissan Quest Q&A

2004 Nissan Quest Question: Front Struts

Does the springs stay on the van when the strut is removed, or do I need a spring compression tool? -
Answer 1
You REALLY need a Strut tool. If you don't know how to do this, have a pro do it. You can get all your teeth knocked out or worse if you don't know how to properly release a spring on a strut. Good Luck! -
Answer 2
yes you need a tool to compress the springs or else pow. right in the kisser -
