Pretty conventional front strut replacement, meaning you have to remove the strut/spring assembly, use a spring compressor tool to secure the spring upon upper mount removal, and then swap components. Not easy for a novice, but not hard for someone with some experience and the right tools, which is critical. If you have never compressed springs before, it can be a dangerous operation with all that force and tension.
