front rotors on 2008 Acura TL

on the front rotors, I see the two thread holes to back off the rotors if their rusted on, but what are the two philips screws for?

Remove the two phillips screws, these hold the rotor to the hub, primarily for the installation process. Try hitting the phillips screws with a hammer first to free them up, then when they are off, hit the hub of the rotor with a hammer to free it from the hub. Be careful to not hit any part of the wheel bolt/studs.
