2005 Mercury Montego Question: Front end squeaking when brakes applied

When I push down on the brake pedal I hear a squeak, even if I'm stopped and in park. It sounds like a suspension problem? I have 96000 miles on this car.

The pads are most likely stuck and when you push down on the pedal they are creaking. Could be a stuck slide pin too but most likely pads are stuck. You will probably find pads are worn unevenly or even worn down metal to metal. While doing a routine brake job on my mothers car she has the same creak and this is what I found. No problems after replacing pads rotors and all hardware.
