Question: front end rattling when hitting potholes

i have a 02 ford taurud and when i hit pot holes or speed bumps it makes a metel on metal sound like somthings rattling any info would be helpful thanks

    I would have all the steering and suspension components inspected in the front end - check for looseness of everything. Could be as simple as stabilizer bar links that have looseness.
